E-bike novelty 2023 – Amuza Monto
Series – Episode 1

The company

The prominent volcanic cone Hohe Acht, which is figuratively represented in the brand logo, is not by chance the namesake of the still young premium brand, a brand of the TechniBike Group. Rather, the solitary rocky peak symbolizes the goals that those responsible have set themselves: Distinctive design, closeness to nature and quality that makes the bikes real comrades in town and country.

The portfolio of HoheAcht

For the 2023 bike season, the company has three absolute novelties in the program.

The graveler segment is served for the first time with the Lumo Ripio model, while the Amola Tereno is a bike for all occasions with the highest comfort standards and addresses the increasingly strong clientele of SUB, the sports utility bikes. The Amuza Monto completes the E-MTB range. The remaining bikes in the portfolio also receive updates in the form of design adjustments and improvements in details.

Bike-Characteristic

The model presented here Amuza Monto is a mountain bike hardtail of the lightweight class. Full carbon frame, the lightweight Shimano EP 801 motor and an integrated 360 Wh battery allow a total weight of just over 15 kg ready to ride. The motor delivers 85 Newton meters of torque, and the range can be doubled with an external range extender.

The Monto is a classic single trail bike. The weight advantage allows playful handling in rough terrain. The 29-inch tires overcome even more severe obstacles, the Sram NX Eagle 12-speed gear shifting helps in extreme steep passages and the hydraulic disc brakes with four brake pistons and discs with 203 mm diameter bring the car reliably to a halt even in rapid downhill. For the required variability of the seat height on trails provides the dropper of the seatpost.

The Amuza range is completed by the Dio and Roko variants, which differ from the Monto in frame material and components. The Monto will be available in four colors.
