Slow Food Germany e.V. is an initiative that sees itself as a counter-movement to the currently dominant fast food trend. Its goal is to enable consumers to consume thoughtfully, with pleasure and a good conscience, always taking into account the origin and non-industrial food production. For the founders and members, consumption itself is not the only thing; they also strive for a way of life based on respect, fairness and quality of life. The dissemination of this lifestyle concept is at the center of Slow Food's engagement.
Fine dishes from Broeding
On December 10th of this year, Slow Food Germany e.V. will once again celebrate the "Terra Madre Day", the Day of Mother Earth. This event will be celebrated this year with two online tastings.
First, a culinary journey. Three small dishes from the kitchen of Manuel Reheis from the Munich restaurant Broeding will be paired with creative, alcohol-free drinks prepared by bartender Michael Wendlinger-Iwan. Together, they will show how surprising and multifaceted enjoyment can be without alcohol – refined, regional and lovingly composed.
Time: 17:00 to 19:00

Selected wines from various German regions
Afterwards, Slow-wine-certified, sustainable wineries will be in the spotlight. Winemakers from Baden, Franconia, the Palatinate, Rheinhessen, the Mosel and the Kaiserstuhl will offer their wines and talk about their work – accompanied by the tasting by Martin Wurzer-Berger, the head of the Slow Food Wine Commission and wine expert Hubert Konrad. This offers an insight into the new understanding of sustainable, fair wine production.
Time: 19:00 to 21:00

The program
The tastings can be booked individually or in combination. If you register by November 19, 2025, the tasting boxes with food, drinks or wines will be delivered to your home in time. On December 10th, it's time to relax, taste and enjoy – and become part of the global Slow Food community.
„With these online tastings, we want to show that diversity, enjoyment and responsibility go hand in hand, says Dr. Rupert Ebner, chairman of Slow Food Germany.
Both events will be recorded and will be available later on theYouTube channelof Slow Food Germany.
