The South Korean outdoor specialist Helinox and the English surf outfitter Finisterre cooperate and bring a super-light and functional piece of seating furniture onto the market. For surfers, campers, nature lovers, design freaks and others.
The highlight: the struts of the Chair One chair are made of aluminium using a sustainable anodising process, and the tear-resistant and weatherproof seat cover is made of 100 percent recycled polyester. In addition to sustainability in production, functionality and design play a central role. For example, the chair has two side pockets for small parts that always need to be at hand and a beverage cup fixed to the tubes.
With a weight of just 960 grams, a pack size of 35 x 10 x 12 centimetres and a load capacity of 145 kilograms, the seating furniture is suitable for many uses in nature, on long journeys or at concerts and similar occasions. The Chair One also cuts a fine figure on the garden terrace or in the meeting room.
The product is available exclusively in the colour combination dark blue-orange in a limited edition. The price is 135 euros, and the manufacturers provide a five-year guarantee.
